Ratsasan (Eng: Demon) is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language psychological thriller film directed by Ram Kumar. The film features Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul in the lead roles. Featuring music composed by Ghibran, the venture began production in November 2016.
The film released on 5 October 2018 worldwide to positive reviews and became a blockbuster. The film is being remade in Telugu as Rakshasudu (2019) by Bellamkonda Sreenivas.
Ratsasan opens with the discovery of a corpse by two old man on their walking which is teenage school girl named Samyuktha, a 15 years old school student was found brutally murdered and wrapped in a Polythene bag.
