Ram Robert Rahim is a 1980 Indian Telugu/Tamil language film directed by Vijaya Nirmala. It stars her husband Krishna as Robert, Rajinikanth as Ram and Chandra Mohan as Rahim. Chandra Mohan is an Indian film actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema and a few Tamil films. He has garnered two Filmfare Awards and seven Nandi Awards. He received critical reception for his performance in box office hits such as Rangula Ratnam, for which he received the state Nandi Award for Best Actor. Anjali Devi plays their mother. Sridevi plays Robert’s girlfriend. It was later dubbed and released in Tamil with the same title. The film is a remake of the Hindi hit film Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), starring Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor.
The plot focuses on three brothers who are separated in childhood and adopted by three families of different faiths—Hinduism, Islam and Christianity. One grows up to be a policeman, another a singer, and the third the owner of a country liquor bar.
