Panam Padaithavan (Eng: The One Who Has Money) is a 1965 Tamil-language film produced and directed by T. R. Ramanna, and written by Sakthi T. K. Krishnasamy.
The film stars M. G. Ramachandran, Sowcar Janaki and K. R. Vijaya. It was released on 27 March 1965.
A family story, MGR in the role of an athlete. Nagesh his brother, goes with him to Calcutta to participate in an athletic meet.
Happens to see K.R.Vijaya and fell in love but due to circumstances marry Sowcar Janaki and their marriage life is short lived, she dies horribly.
Against the wishes of his father MGR marries K.R.Vijaya after a short stint in army.
They have a child and how the family gets united is the remaining part of the story.
