Asuraguru is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by A.Raajdheep, produced by JSB. Sathish under JSB film studios banner, dialogues penned by Kabilan Vairamuthu and Chandru Manickavasagam. Asuraguru stars Vikram Prabhu, Mahima Nambiar in lead roles while Subbaraju, Yogi Babu, and Nagineedu playing supportive roles in the film. The film is bankrolled by J.S.B. Sathish under his production company JSB Film Studios. The film released on 13 March 2020.
The film starts off by showing Shakthi successfully robbing a train. In the movie, Shakti is shown as a Robin hood who steals money from the rich peoples. The problems begins after the police department appoints special officer to find out the culprit behind the train heist. And also a private detective came into the case which was appointed by the person who was robbed. Mahima Nambiar plays the role of the detective named Diya.
The movie becomes more interesting when the detective and the police officer are behind the Shakti, but he still performs heist. Mahima is seen playing a strong character in the movie with riding motor bikes and smoking cigarettes. As the movie later progresses, the film turns to begin a love angle between the Shakti and Diya, which seems something off scene. However, the movie ends with fooling the appointed police officer and the love story between the train heist and the detective.
