Aadama Jaichomada (Eng: We Won Without Playing) is a 2014 Tamil language comedy movie directed by Badri and produced by B&C films that deals with corruption in cricket. The film stars Karunakaran, Bobby Simha, and Vijayalakshmi. The film takes its name from a phrase in “Machi Open The Bottle”, a song from the film Mankatha. Aadama Jaichomada released on 19 September 2014 to positive reviews from critics. The film declared Hit at the box office.
Cops are on the lookout for a bookie named Dhayalan (Balaji Venugopal) who is in the spot-fixing business. The police come to know that the bookie is planning to buy off a player, who will be playing in the semi final match to be held in Chennai. The city police commissioner asks his officers Bhoominathan (Bobby Simha) and his assistant Mariadass (Chetan) to find the bookie before the match happens.
One day, Dhayalan hires a taxi to meet the cricket player. On his way, he chats with the taxi driver Panneer (Karunkaran) who shares his financial woes with him. Dhayalan promises to help him, but when Panneer goes to see Dhayalan at a hotel, he finds him dead. Cops suspect Panneer and arrest him. What happens to Panneer? Who are the real killers? All these are answered as the film progresses towards the end.
