Aarathu Sinam (English: Anger won’t subside) is a Tamil-Indian crime-thriller film written and directed by Arivazhagan and produced by Sri Thenandal Films. A remake of Jeethu Joseph’s Malayalam film Memories (2013), the film stars Arulnithi, Aishwarya Rajesh and Aishwarya Dutta in the leading roles. Featuring music composed by Thaman and cinematography by Aravinnd Singh, the film began production during November 2015 and released in February 2016.
Aravind was a daredevil police officer who is now offduty due to his drinking habits, which he engaged in after his wife and kid were murdered by criminals who wanted to avenge him. His Joint Commissioner gives him a case to get him out of his depression. The case involves serial murders with araimaic texts scratched on deadbodies. How Aravind solves the crime and recovers his reputation and aim in life is the rest of the story.
